Bus accident on Pa. turnpike; 29 injured
MOUNT GRETNA, Pa. — Greyhound is interviewing the driver and passengers who were aboard a St. Louis-bound bus that flipped over on the Pennsylvania Turnpike over the weekend, injuring 14 people.
The crash happened at around 6 a.m. Saturday near the Lebanon-Lancaster exit, after the bus had made a stop in Philadelphia.
Maureen Richmond, a Greyhound spokeswoman, said Monday that 14 of the 18 people aboard were injured, including the driver. She says all were treated and released from hospitals and that the passengers eventually continued on their way on a different bus.
Richmond says the Dallas-based company is interviewing passengers and driver and is closely examining the bus. Pennsylvania State Police also are investigating.
