Microstream Capnolines

Capnography is the earliest indicator of adverse airway and respiratory issues. With Medtronic sampling lines, EMS providers can immediately detect airway obstruction and other ventilation problems. The lines provide continuous feedback on the breathing and ventilatory status of patients in emergency care.

Medtronic has developed advanced sampling lines to help ensure accurate sampling in a variety of emergency situations, such as high humidity environments, and in a variety of patients, including oral or nasal breathers, infants and neonates.

 

  • Patented Uni-junction™ design: assures effective oral and nasal sampling even at low tidal volumes, with no dilution of waveform during O2 delivery
  • Patented O2 delivery: enables effective oxygen therapy and reduces the O2 drying effect on sensitive mucus membranes
  • Built-in water trap with hydrophobic filter: prevents moisture from entering the monitor while maintaining the laminar flow and excellent waveforms
